As children get older, they need routine appointments to ensure their teeth are growing and developing properly. Scheduling appointments every six months will help us screen for cavities and treat problems before they get serious. We can also evaluate for things like orthodontic care and teeth whitening as children get older.
For adults, we recommend continuing these twice-a-year appointments unless problems arise that require more frequent appointments. Our dental team will walk you through your options to ensure you protect your health and smile for the long term.
For older adults, our team still recommends the twice-a-year appointments. However, the oral health needs of older adults may change. In addition to screening for cavities and decay, we will start looking at signs of tooth loss. If tooth loss does occur, we offer implants and bridges to help restore the function of the mouth.
